The standard for timber-frame construction. One panel covers a large area while providing excellent fastener holding strength.
FULL DESCRIPTION OSB (Oriented Strand Board) is an engineered wood panel made by compressing large wood strands in multiple cross-oriented layers. This layered structure provides excellent bending strength and strong screw and nail holding performance. Compared to plywood, OSB is more cost-effective and available in larger panel sizes, making timber-frame wall and roof sheathing faster and more economical.
APPLICATIONS – Timber-frame wall and roof sheathing – Subflooring and dry screed systems – Temporary barriers and construction panels – Packaging, crates, and pallets – Interior finishes and retail displays
